Most of us who actively use the net get at least 1 spam mail a day that has a virus attachment. Many times these mails look genuine but actually when we download them we come to know that they are infected.
Now the question is how to identification of virus attachment? just look for following simptoms
It has a small size less than<100-150kb>It has extension file name such as below:
.scr .clp
.pif .bat
.exe .com
.lhz .rhz
and some time it's compressed by .zip/.rar file.
The names of these attachment are very tempting Generally the names are like HotMovie.MPEG.bat
funny scandle.Avi.exe
cool_pics_of_actress.zip
Actualy the file is virus file . Most of us forget to see the correct extension . The last 3 characters after the final dot(.) is the correct extension.
